We're looking for an experienced Commercial Plumbing Mechanic with a Texas Journeyman Plumber License who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship, solving complex plumbing challenges, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Active Texas Journeyman Plumber License (Required).
  • 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience.
  • Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial plumbing systems.
  • Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to read blueprints and plumbing schematics.
  • Must provide standard hand tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in commercial buildings, healthcare, schools, hospitality, or industrial facilities.
  • Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (BPAT) certification is a plus.
  • Experience working alongside commercial mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, installations, retrofits, and preventative maintenance on commercial plumbing systems while ensuring all work meets state and local code requirements.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems.
  • Service water heaters, drain lines, flush valves, backflow preventers, piping systems, and related equipment.
  • Install, repair, and retrofit commercial plumbing and mechanical piping systems.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and assemble copper, cast iron, PVC, and other piping materials.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Ensure all work complies with Texas plumbing codes and company safety standards.
  • Complete accurate work orders and service documentation using field management software.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, facility managers, and general contractors regarding repairs and recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with Service and Construction teams to deliver quality results.
