About The Position

The Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Technician maintains proper operating conditions and the structural and physical condition of the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse and related facilities. The role performs inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems throughout the property. Work areas include the clubhouse, hospitality venues, mechanical rooms, and exterior facilities. The position supports clubhouse operations, special events, and tournaments, and has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Travel is not expected.

Requirements

Five years of experience in commercial plumbing, HVAC, facilities maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
Working knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, HVAC equipment, pumps, valves, water heaters, and related building systems.
Experience troubleshooting and performing routine repairs and preventive maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and maintenance schedules.
Valid driver's license.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Customer-service mindset and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Ability to comply with applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, handle tools and equipment, and communicate effectively with guests, vendors, and team members.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Vision abilities including close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial plumbing and HVAC systems throughout the property.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests in clubhouse, restaurant, kitchen, locker room, banquet, office, and back-of-house areas.
Perform preventive maintenance to support reliable operation of mechanical, plumbing, and building systems.
Diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with specialized contractors when necessary.
Monitor and maintain water, drainage, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Assist with general building maintenance projects and repairs as needed.
Perform work in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
Support special events, tournaments, and clubhouse operations by maintaining facility readiness.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
