O'Connor Plumbing is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Field Supervisor to lead our Commercial Service team throughout the Washington, DC Metro area. This role is for a strong leader with extensive commercial plumbing experience who enjoys mentoring technicians, solving complex plumbing issues, and building high-performing teams. Requirements
- 7+ years of commercial plumbing experience
- Previous leadership, Foreman, or Field Supervisor experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred (not required)
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and computers
Responsibilities
- Lead and support Commercial Service Technicians and Apprentices.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on field support.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to ensure quality, safety, and productivity.
- Review daily work orders and coordinate with dispatch, estimators, and office staff.
- Assist technicians with complex troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ensure all work meets company standards, safety requirements, and plumbing codes.
- Order materials and coordinate project needs.
- Coach, mentor, and develop technicians to improve performance and skill level.
- Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
