Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of commercial plumbing experience
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift, handle, and move heavy plumbing tools, equipment, and materials
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods

Nice To Haves

Journeyman Plumber license preferred but not required
Trade school, apprenticeship, or community college plumbing training preferred
Experience with commercial plumbing systems and equipment
OSHA certification is a plus
Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems and fixtures
Install underground drainage and water supply piping systems
Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs
Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes to required specifications
Utilize hand and power tools to fit valves, couplings, pumps, tanks, and related plumbing components
Assist in the layout, assembly, and installation of fixtures for water, waste, and air systems
Maintain and repair damaged equipment, broken pipes, and clogged drains
Ensure all work complies with local building codes and company safety standards
Coordinate with contractors, pipefitters, and other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion
Select and assist with procurement of plumbing materials and equipment as needed
Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate progress updates
Participate in plumbing on-call duties and travel to job sites as needed
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in clean and safe working condition
Deliver exceptional customer service and professionalism on every job site
