Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial plumbing experience
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift, handle, and move heavy plumbing tools, equipment, and materials
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman Plumber license preferred but not required
  • Trade school, apprenticeship, or community college plumbing training preferred
  • Experience with commercial plumbing systems and equipment
  • OSHA certification is a plus
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Install underground drainage and water supply piping systems
  • Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs
  • Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes to required specifications
  • Utilize hand and power tools to fit valves, couplings, pumps, tanks, and related plumbing components
  • Assist in the layout, assembly, and installation of fixtures for water, waste, and air systems
  • Maintain and repair damaged equipment, broken pipes, and clogged drains
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes and company safety standards
  • Coordinate with contractors, pipefitters, and other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion
  • Select and assist with procurement of plumbing materials and equipment as needed
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate progress updates
  • Participate in plumbing on-call duties and travel to job sites as needed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in clean and safe working condition
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and professionalism on every job site
