About The Position
RQC, LLC is seeking to hire several Commercial / Industrial Plumbers to join their self-perform team for ongoing work in Norfolk, VA. All work is to be performed on a military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage. The plumbers will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment on an active construction site, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves technical application of mechanical principles, using appropriate equipment and implementing required safety practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level plumbing in a commercial or facilities operations setting.
- Evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization.
- Successfully pass a drug screening.
- Successfully pass a commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check.
Nice To Haves
- Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
