About The Position
Great Basin Staffing is seeking an Experienced Commercial Plaster Finisher for a 1-week commercial café remodel project in the Vancouver/Portland area. The framing and drywall work have already been completed. This role will focus primarily on applying plaster finishes to newly modified wall sections where existing 10-foot windows are being reduced to 9-foot openings. The goal is to create clean, seamless finishes that blend properly with existing wall surfaces in a commercial environment.
Requirements
- Commercial plaster finishing experience required
- Experience blending new and existing finishes required
- Reliable transportation required
Nice To Haves
- Patch repair experience preferred
- Commercial remodel or tenant improvement experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards
Responsibilities
- Apply commercial plaster finishes to newly completed wall sections
- Blend new plaster work into existing finishes
- Perform minor patch and repair work as needed
- Smooth and finish surfaces for final paint prep
- Maintain clean work areas and follow site safety requirements
