About The Position

RoyalAire Mechanical Services has an immediate opening for experienced and motivated Commercial Pipefitters in the Greater Tampa Bay area. Established in 1987, RoyalAire is a full-service mechanical contractor with expertise in sheet metal, piping, plumbing, and service capabilities. The company excels in commercial, institutional, industrial, mechanical, and plumbing applications, providing full-service design/build, design-assist, schematic budgeting, and logistics planning. RoyalAire also services the systems they install through their service division, covering all types of systems from chilled water to refrigeration systems via service contracts, preventative maintenance agreements, and on-call service repairs. Additionally, they offer indoor air quality testing and duct cleaning services. The advancement of the industry, brand, and reputation is driven by their Pipefitters.

Requirements

• Must be in the Greater Tampa area
• Graduation from high school, vocational school, or training equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience in pipefitting work
• Must know how to fit carbon steel, utilize a cutting torch, sweat copper, and must have basic knowledge of reading prints
• Must have reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan piping system installation or repair, including cutting, threading, and bending
• Lay-out, assemble, install, maintain, and repair many different types of pipe systems
• Measuring, cuts, threads, and bends pipe using hand power tools or machines.
• Cuts openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings using hand and power tools.
• Mounting hangers and brackets as required
• Installing valves, coupling, and other fittings
• Maintaining a safe and orderly job site and functions
