About The Position

We are currently hiring experienced commercial Hydronic Pipefitters for projects in the Austin, Texas area. Candidates must have experience installing hydronic, chill water, and heating piping systems on commercial construction projects. Responsible for the installations, assembly, maintenance, and repair of commercial hydronic piping systems including chilled water, hot water, condense water, and mechanical piping.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent commercial hydronic pipefitting experience
• Experience with chilled water, condenser water, and mechanical piping
• Experience working in commercial or industrial construction environments
• Ability to lift, climb, and work on ladders or scaffolding
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic required

Responsibilities

• Install hydronic and chilled water piping systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Measure, cut, thread, groove and assemble various types of pipe including steel copper, pvc, and black pipe
• Install valves, pumps, hangers, supports and mechanical equipment
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and isometric plans
• Install and maintain heating and colling water systems for commercial buildings
• Perform additional duties as assigned
