The Commercial Operations Specialist will be responsible for owning and maintaining customer pricing books and commercial documentation, leading promotional setup and execution, and ensuring the integrity of customer portals, item submissions, forms, and required documentation. This role involves proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies, monitoring customer-specific requirements and submission timelines, and serving as a primary point of coordination for retailer and broker communication. The specialist will also own setup coordination and documentation for private label and co-manufacturing opportunities, develop and maintain promotional calendars and trackers, and identify opportunities to improve and scale commercial processes. Additionally, the role requires managing timelines and cross-functional follow-up for customer initiatives, driving accountability for open items, and establishing organized records to improve visibility and eliminate execution challenges. The position aims to contribute to a more proactive commercial organization through strong ownership, communication, and follow-through. The role also involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing customer, promotional, and syndicated data to support sales efforts, identifying trends and insights, and building Excel-based reports and trackers. The specialist will support customer-facing selling stories and business reviews with clear, actionable insights, and own the development and organization of sales presentations and customer decks. This includes creating presentation frameworks, data sections, charts, and supporting materials, as well as partnering with sales and marketing leadership to ensure accuracy and alignment. The role also supports internal sales meetings and key commercial initiatives.
