About The Position
Skillforce is hiring experienced Metal Framing and Drywall Carpenters for a long-term construction project at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Candidates must have strong metal framing, drywall hanging, and drywall finishing experience, along with well-rounded commercial carpentry skills.
Requirements
- Proven commercial metal framing experience
- Strong drywall hanging and finishing skills
- Well-rounded commercial carpentry experience
- Must provide all necessary metal framing and drywall tools
- Must have personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide valid employment documentation
- Must have a clean background and meet all requirements for access to Tinker Air Force Base
Responsibilities
- Install metal framing for walls, partitions, and building additions
- Measure, cut, and hang drywall
- Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall surfaces
- Read measurements, layouts, and construction drawings
- Perform general commercial carpentry tasks as needed
- Follow all jobsite and military-base safety requirements
