About The Position

Indra USA is seeking a skilled Commercial Manager – Transit with experience in transportation to drive commercial activities and business development in the USA, focusing on the transit sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling technological solutions for public transportation agencies and operators, including experience in payment and fare collection systems and CAD/AVL systems, among others.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Transportation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of commercial experience in the transportation sector, specifically in selling technological solutions for transit agencies and operators.
• Proven expertise in fare collection and CAD/AVL systems.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand complex technological solutions and effectively communicate their value to clients.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Native or fluent English speaker.
• Based in the East Coast or in the West Coast

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and lead commercial actions within the designated areas in the US.
• For qualified opportunities, drives the strategy to win them, through driving offers that address customer requirements, finalizing teaming and partnership arrangements, and more.
• Build and strengthen relationships with public transportation agencies, rail, metro and buses operators, and key stakeholders to identify needs and match them with Indra’s solutions.
• Develop and execute a strategic regional commercial plans for the transit sector, with a focus on Indra’s technological solutions.
• Lead and support the creation of proposals, presentations, and bids in collaboration with the bid, technical and solutions teams.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and to leverage technical knowledge in the commercial process.
