This role is not a typical handyman job; it involves working on modern, standardized commercial kitchen facilities in consistent environments, leading to faster repairs and less guesswork. The position offers a mix of hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility support, with opportunities for independent work and support from experienced teams. Requirements

2+ years of handyman, maintenance, or facilities experience
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based role
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

3+ years of commercial facilities maintenance experience
Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site environments
HVAC/R experience or trade school background

Responsibilities

Perform general repairs across multiple sites, including drywall, patching, painting, tiling, basic masonry, shelving and equipment installation, floor repairs and upkeep, and exterior maintenance (roofs, gutters, landscaping).
Conduct routine maintenance on building systems: HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
Identify issues early and prevent costly breakdowns.
Travel between multiple sites throughout the week across the San Francisco area.
Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day facility issues.
Partner with internal teams to keep kitchens fully operational.
