About The Position

Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking a full-time, experienced Commercial Maintenance Technician/Handyman to maintain and repair all aspects of commercial buildings across its East and West Valley locations. The role rotates weekly among nine facilities and includes routine maintenance, identifying and repairing or reporting faulty items, and coordinating with outside vendors on larger issues. The technician must follow OSHA standards and safety regulations, keep facilities clean and orderly, and maintain a professional, courteous, and responsive manner.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial facilities maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and proof of personal auto insurance.
• Willingness to travel between East and West Valley office locations.
• Own basic hand and power tools and be able to use them safely.
• Basic computer skills for regular business functions.
• Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Ability to work safely and remain alert.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors and climb stairs during the workday.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the day.
• Ability to lift or move items weighing over 75 pounds, including lifting 10 pounds overhead.
• Ability to use ladders and provided tools and equipment safely.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair commercial buildings, including basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, drywall, painting, flooring, ceiling, and general maintenance work.
• Inspect Ironwood facilities proactively to detect faulty or defective items and repair them or report them appropriately.
• Rotate weekly among nine Ironwood facilities to perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain relationships with outside vendors for larger issues.
• Operate within OSHA standards and comply with safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and orderly facilities.
• Handle requests responsively, courteously, and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
