About The Position

The Commercial Logistics and Upfit Coordinator manages daily freight operations by coordinating shipments, communicating with carriers and customers, and monitoring deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation. This role supports Account Executives, maintains accurate shipment and carrier records, resolves issues proactively, negotiates carrier rates, and ensures compliance while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

Minimum one year of Freight Brokerage experience required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Logistics Software.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Commitment to continuous improvement and scalable processes.

Nice To Haves

Supply chain knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge of Fleet Industry regulations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Schedule inbound and outbound shipments in support of Account Executives.
Coordinate drivers and vehicle movement across dealer lots, AME/upfit vendors, internal facilities, and client locations.
Oversee final delivery readiness and accuracy.
Communicate with shippers, carriers, and clients to track freight and establish ETAs.
Provide timely updates and resolve shipment inquiries.
Escalate potential delays or disruptions to Sales, Account Management, Carrier Teams, and leadership.
Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and maintain delivery standards.
Address service issues and track carrier performance.
Maintain strong relationships with logistics partners.
Prepare and process invoices, contracts, bills of lading, and related logistics documentation.
Maintain accurate customer and carrier records, including rates and performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Negotiate carrier rates and service terms to secure cost-effective transportation.
Support logistics reporting, data analysis, and administrative tasks.
