About The Position

The Commercial Loan Servicing Manager position is a lead role responsible for commercial loan servicing and various administrative duties in support of the Commercial lending line of business. This is a highly leveraged position that is cross-trained to support various areas within the loan operations function with a wide range of daily task-related responsibility as well as internal and external customer service responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership within the loan servicing function by guiding team workflows, mentoring and developing team members, and ensuring consistent execution of servicing standards and best practices.
  • Execute a wide range of loan administration functions, including system set-up, documentation review, collection of follow-up items, transaction processing (e.g., wire transfers), loan servicing activities, and research and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal partners and external clients, delivering responsive, high-quality customer service.
  • Collaborate on and/or lead the development of reporting to support senior leadership in performance assessment, business continuity, policy adherence, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support Accounting by reconciling commercial loan transactions to corresponding General Ledger accounts, while assisting with reporting and internal service needs.
  • Act as a generalist and trusted internal resource, supporting loan operations partners across functions including processing, quality assurance, documentation, and loan disbursement.
  • Proactively identify, resolve, and escalate issues and opportunities, demonstrating sound judgment, effective prioritization, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Comply with internal security policies and procedures and maintain customer confidentiality at all times.
