About The Position

The Commercial Loan Service Specialist 3 will be a member of the Collateral Booking/QR team within the Commercial Loan Services group. This team is responsible for boarding, reviewing, and monitoring collateral on AFSVision loan applications after the loan has closed. The primary function of this role is to support the collateral for the Huntington National Bank Commercial portfolio, including booking collateral to the system, lien perfection, ongoing collateral monitoring, and quality review.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 or more years of related experience involving Commercial Loan documentation (i.e, review, documentation preparation, account maintenance)
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

• 4 or more years of commercial loan experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access -- Ability to create and edit basic Word and Excel documents.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills and problem solving ability
• Prior customer service experience is helpful
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• CLOS and/or Velocity system experience preferable
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Demonstrated dependability (attendance)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment adhering to established SLA targets and quality requirements

Responsibilities

• Analyze collateral documentation and ensure alignment with the credit approval system.
• Perform maintenance in the AFSVision system, including adding and updating collateral records following bank standards and procedures.
• Partner with business segments regarding missing or insufficient documentation.
• Perfect lien position through filing or recording of documents (UCC, mortgage, titles, etc).
• Monitor report results for any data discrepancies.
• Manage incoming workflow of loan documentation to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA's) are met or exceeded.
• Conduct quality review of the collateral, lien placement and documents.
• Support the Collateral Boarding process on the AFSVision application.
• Handle original loan documentation packets and prepare and deliver them to the internal document repository system.
