About The Position

The Commercial Loan Processor ensures accurate and timely packaging of business loans originated by Park Bank. The role works with bank staff and vendors to obtain and verify information needed to process business loans, then uses that information to prepare complete and accurate closing packets. The processor provides exceptional customer service and supports positive, productive relationships with clients, associates, and vendors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years of work experience in a financial environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in loan compliance documentation.
• 2–5 years of experience in loan origination and document preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate loan documents with no critical errors.
• Review documents to verify CIP information and the authority to borrow on behalf of an entity.
• Communicate with Business Bankers and Credit Analysts to resolve discrepancies between application or underwriting information and information obtained from outside sources during processing.
• Review closing packages to ensure documents sent for closing are returned with proper signatures.
• Book renewals, modifications, extensions, and basic originations in a timely manner.
• Verify the accuracy of requested loan draw amounts.
• Follow up on document exceptions with Business Bankers and title companies.
• Receive outstanding title policies and recorded documents.
• Work with bank staff and vendors to obtain and verify information needed to process business loans.
• Provide customer service and support productive relationships with clients, associates, and vendors.
