About The Position

This Commercial Loan Processing Specialist position has primary responsibility for supporting the commercial loan officers, ensuring that all notes and supporting loan documents are properly created and completed according to current policy, governmental, auditing, and loan review standards. Making changes to the bank control, loan control maintenance system, and overseeing work through input-output editing processes.

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
Excellent attention to detail, general understanding of accounting and balancing, ability to identify missing items, advanced organizational skills, ability to work under deadlines, independent thinking, self-motivation, strong oral and written communication skills.
4 year college degree in Finance, Banking, or related work experience
5 years’ experience creating commercial loan documents within several loan types and increased complexity levels
5 years professional office experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Thorough understanding of regulations required for proper loan processing
Accounting experience

Responsibilities

Prepare or oversee the preparation of all loan documents required on new notes, renewals, and extensions with minimal errors.
Assist in the daily workflow of the department.
Review Note Teller daily edits using supporting reports and signing off per FIDICIA requirements.
Change loan rate indexes – prepare rate sheets and distribute accordingly to all of Commercial Lending.
Maintain a thorough understanding of loan products and services and industry best practices
Ability to train and explain complex loan structure, systems, processes and terms into a clear and understandable way
Request various Credit Bureau, Flood Determinations and AVMs reports.
Backup scanning/editing for ImageCentre.
Answer incoming calls and assist customers.
Special projects as assigned by Supervisor.
