Requirements

Must be admitted to the Illinois bar and in good standing.
Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with land use and environmental law is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, with additional experience in land use and environmental law considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Handle all aspects of commercial litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs.
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial disputes.
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Advise clients on risk assessment and litigation strategies.
Collaborate with colleagues on land use and environmental matters when applicable.
