Commercial Litigation Associate
About The Position
Nelson Mullins is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its litigation group in its Columbia office. This position offers the opportunity to build your practice within an Am Law 100 firm with a national platform and a sophisticated commercial litigation practice serving leading companies throughout the United States. Nelson Mullins’ Columbia SC office was established in 1897 by Patrick Henry Nelson. Today in Columbia, we have approximately 115 attorneys and 230 support staff providing client services across a range of practice areas, including corporate, litigation, intellectual property, government relations, and e-discovery.
Requirements
- Between 3 and 6 years of meaningful experience in commercial litigation
- Courtroom experience
- Experience in a mid-size or large law firm setting
- Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Adept in case management
- Ready to take the lead
- Admitted to and in Good Standing with the South Carolina Bar
Nice To Haves
- Experience with franchise litigation is a plus
