About The Position

Lewis Brisbois is seeking an associate attorney to join its Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice in the San Diego, California office. The practice handles state and federal litigation, appeals, and regulatory proceedings for local, national, and international clients, as well as government agencies. Its clients represent a broad range of industries and include corporations, businesses, individuals, and entrepreneurs.

The role involves complex commercial litigation matters, including financial fraud, securities, contract and fiduciary-duty disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, loan disputes, construction litigation, and UCC litigation. The associate will handle all facets of litigation, from motions and discovery through court appearances, alternative dispute resolution, and trial preparation. Compensation is listed at $145,000 to $190,000 per year, and the firm offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a 401(k) with employer match.

Requirements

• One to seven years of complex commercial litigation experience representing companies in federal and state litigation matters.
• Experience in all facets of litigation, including motions, depositions, complex discovery, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Admission to the California Bar.
