About The Position

A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney – Supply Chain & International Trade to join its Chicago office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing domestic and international businesses in sophisticated commercial disputes involving supply chain issues, international trade matters, and complex business litigation.

Requirements

5+ years of commercial litigation or complex business litigation experience
Experience drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests, and other litigation filings
Experience developing case strategy and independently managing litigation matters
Experience handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong analytical skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines
Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Experience handling supply chain disputes, commercial litigation, international trade matters, and/or tariff-related disputes preferred
