About The Position

A premier national law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing leading financial institutions, public companies, and other sophisticated clients in high-stakes commercial litigation, regulatory enforcement actions, and class action matters.

Requirements

3–6 years of commercial litigation, complex business litigation, or financial services litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
Experience representing financial institutions, corporations, and other sophisticated clients in complex litigation matters
Experience handling commercial disputes, regulatory and enforcement actions, class actions, and other high-exposure litigation
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Nice To Haves

Experience managing all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
Experience drafting substantive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation-related filings
Experience litigating matters in state and federal courts
Ability to manage sophisticated matters while working directly with clients and litigation teams

Responsibilities

Representing leading financial institutions, public companies, and other sophisticated clients in high-stakes commercial litigation, regulatory enforcement actions, and class action matters.
Managing all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
Drafting substantive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation-related filings.
Litigating matters in state and federal courts.
Managing sophisticated matters while working directly with clients and litigation teams.
