About The Position

Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Commercial Lines Rater (Marketing Assistant) to join an established and growing team. This is an entry-level position designed to support our licensed staff by handling data entry, quoting, and eventually assisting with carrier selection for commercial insurance accounts. While prior licensing is not required, candidates must be willing to obtain their Property & Casualty (P&C) license within 60–90 days of hire.

• Familiarity with AMS360 software is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and quoting for commercial insurance accounts, including contractors, restaurants, marinas, and home healthcare businesses.
• Assist in carrier selection under the direction of producers, with the potential for expanded responsibilities over time.
• Support licensed staff by alleviating workload and ensuring efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of accounts.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and contribute to the agency's growth.
