About The Position

Towne Insurance is seeking a seasoned Commercial Lines Marketing Manager to join their team in Norfolk, Virginia. This role is designed for a relationship-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative, sales-focused environment and aims to make a significant impact for production teams and carrier partners. The manager will play a central role in supporting complex commercial accounts and assisting producers and advisors in delivering thoughtful, strategic solutions. The Commercial Lines Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the placement and marketing of commercial accounts across various industries, working closely with producers, account teams, and carrier partners. This involves leveraging deep knowledge of the commercial insurance marketplace and strong carrier partnerships to negotiate coverage and pricing, guide strategy, and present tailored solutions. A critical aspect of the role is the ability to translate complex commercial risk strategies into compelling proposals. The position maintains a core Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional after-hours events, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
