Arachas Group, under new leadership, is seeking an experienced and strategic Commercial Lines Client Service Manager to lead and support our Commercial Lines service team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily departmental operations, driving service excellence, managing team performance, and ensuring efficient workflows across the commercial lines function. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep commercial insurance knowledge who can balance client service priorities with team development and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty license required
  • 5+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience required, including prior leadership or supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, markets, and carriers
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, optimize workflows, and drive operational results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems; Applied Epic preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% as needed
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Lines service team
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Client Service Representatives and Account Managers
  • Establish performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service to all commercial insurance clients
  • Serve as escalation point for complex client issues, coverage questions, and service-related concerns
  • Partner with Producers to support client retention, relationship management, and growth initiatives
  • Monitor client satisfaction and implement service enhancements as needed
  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient workflows, procedures, and service standards
  • Oversee the timely processing of renewals, endorsements, certificates, cancellations, and policy servicing activities
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and team productivity
  • Maintain compliance with agency procedures, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Direct renewal strategy and execution to ensure timelines and quality standards are achieved
  • Review complex accounts, marketing submissions, and coverage placements
  • Support the team with carrier negotiations, quoting strategies, and policy interpretation
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of policy documentation and client records
  • Partner with Sales and Producers to align service delivery with growth objectives
  • Work closely with Finance and Operations teams on billing, reporting, and system optimization
  • Support agency leadership with reporting, metrics, and strategic initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
