About The Position

Seeking motivated and driven individuals to join a growing Commercial Sales team as a Business Development Representative with a path to becoming a Producer, or as an experienced Producer. This is an excellent opportunity to develop commercial insurance sales expertise, build client relationships, and contribute to the growth of a commercial insurance department. Requirements

  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license or has the ability to obtain one.
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, insurance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Applied EPIC is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Coachable with a strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet performance objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new commercial insurance business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with experienced producers to schedule appointments, participate in client meetings, and develop consultative sales skills.
  • Participate in training programs to build expertise in commercial insurance products, risk management solutions, and sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate commercial insurance solutions.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and document activities within the agency management system.
  • For experienced candidates, manage and grow an existing book of business while delivering exceptional client service.
  • Work closely with leadership and team members to support departmental growth initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and insurance products.
  • Meet or exceed established sales and business development goals.
