About The Position

Seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join a team. This role is integral to managing and servicing a diverse portfolio of accounts, including large property management firms and non-profits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines insurance, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years in commercial lines insurance, preferably within an independent agency or brokerage setting.
Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Attention to detail.
Customer-focused mindset.
Adaptability to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in EPIC software is preferred.
Additional certifications or training in insurance is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage a book of business with accounts ranging from $30,000 to $150,000 in revenue, including large property management and non-profit organizations.
Handle both new and renewal business, including quoting and policy management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
Collaborate with the Commercial Lines Team Manager and other team members to achieve departmental goals.
Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely communication.
