About The Position

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role involves managing a portfolio of commercial accounts, providing exceptional client service, and overseeing insurance policies, renewals, and endorsements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to build lasting professional relationships with both clients and colleagues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in commercial lines account management or a related role.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex insurance concepts to clients.
  • Proven ability to consistently deliver outstanding client service and build strong professional relationships.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, with effective time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Solid understanding of commercial insurance policies, coverage lines, and industry standards.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Manage all aspects of clients’ commercial insurance policies, including policy renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and audits.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, coverage, and pricing tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Process insurance documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Develop and nurture client relationships through regular communication and proactive resolution of issues.
  • Assess clients’ business operations to evaluate insurance risks and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Work closely with internal teams and producers to identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling products and services.
  • Support clients through claims processing, ensuring the timely and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide clients with relevant and effective solutions.
