About The Position

North Risk Partners is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for clients. This role supports the sales team in evaluating and managing commercial accounts, providing quality service, and contributing to the company's growth through process improvements and strategic initiatives. Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent, plus a minimum of 3 years in commercial insurance service.
  • Active property & casualty insurance license, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to identify problems and lead by example.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AMS360 and ImageRight.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely and accurate advice and correspondence.
  • Answer client questions regarding all lines of coverage and assist with plan/carrier changes, claims, and billing.
  • Service assigned commercial lines accounts in accordance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Collaborate with Risk Advisors and the Commercial Processing team to meet client goals.
  • Support Risk Advisors by analyzing markets for competitive pricing and developing insurance solutions.
  • Review carrier quotes, identify coverage gaps, prepare proposals, and maintain client applications.
  • Communicate and educate clients on policies as needed.
  • Process new business, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Ensure maximum client retention and generation through relationship building.
  • Manage large volumes of account support items regularly.
  • Attend and participate in commercial lines meetings, trainings, and classes.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with insurance carriers.
  • Promote value-added services offered by North Risk Partners.
  • Respond to phone calls, messages, and emails on the same business day.
  • Accurately enter activity and relevant information into the company's software system(s).
  • Follow all federal and state regulations and best practices to avoid errors and omissions.
  • Continue professional development, obtain and maintain licensing and designations.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
