About The Position

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing a diverse portfolio of middle-market accounts, including construction, agriculture, oil and gas, and trucking. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in handling middle-market accounts, a proactive approach to client service, and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Account Manager or CSR, with a focus on middle-market accounts.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a client-focused mindset are essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Epic software is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business generating $500,000 - $700,000 in revenue, consisting of 100-130 accounts with premiums ranging from $20,000 to $500,000.
  • Handle daily account management tasks, including endorsements, Certificates of Insurance (COI), renewals, marketing, proposals, and client-facing interactions.
  • Conduct account rounding, remarketing, and updating applications as needed.
  • Quote new and renewal business, with a primary focus on renewals.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Department Manager and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and utilize agency management software (Epic preferred but not required).
