About The Position

Seeking to hire a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a commercial team. This role involves managing the day-to-day service for a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, and collaborating with producers and agency leadership on account strategy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of commercial lines account management experience (agency-side preferred)
  • Active Ohio P&C license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solver mindset: you see broken processes and want to fix them
  • Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new tools
  • Self-directed with high attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day service for a portfolio of commercial lines accounts including renewals, endorsements, certificates, coverage reviews, and carrier communications
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering proactive, responsive, and consultative service
  • Identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities; coordinate with producers on account rounding
  • Prepare renewal submissions, marketing summaries, and coverage comparison analyses
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, including evaluating and implementing technology tools that improve efficiency and client experience
  • Collaborate with producers and agency leadership on middle-market account strategy
  • Document workflows and contribute to agency operating procedures and knowledge base
