About The Position

Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Commercial Lines Account Executive to their Louisville, KY team. This role is responsible for the daily servicing of assigned clients, including new and renewal business, processing, and maintaining exceptional customer relations. The Account Executive will support the Sales Producer team, regularly interact with clients, and devise creative solutions to meet client coverage and cost needs. This position requires independent judgment on accounts, including negotiation of product pricing, interviewing clients, collecting and analyzing client information, and assisting in product and pricing determinations. The role involves implementing company policies based on specific client circumstances. The Account Executive will interact with and provide professional support to Producers and clients in initiating the renewal process, marketing responsibilities (from submission to binding coverage), reviewing processed policies, handling Certificates of Insurance with unusual wording, servicing clients in a timely manner, and performing other duties to establish, service, and maintain accounts.

Requirements

  • 5 plus years of insurance experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response

Responsibilities

  • Daily servicing of assigned clients including new and renewal business
  • Processing and maintenance of exceptional customer relations with the client
  • Support the Sales Producer team
  • Devise creative solutions to meet client coverage and costs needs
  • Negotiate product pricing
  • Interview clients
  • Collect and analyze information regarding the client
  • Assist in product and pricing determinations
  • Implement company policies with regard to the specific factual circumstances of each client
  • Initiate renewal process and marketing responsibilities including all steps from preparing a submission to proposing and binding coverage as needed
  • Review processed policies as needed prior to releasing to the client
  • Handle Certificates of Insurance with unusual wording
  • Service clients in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as are required to establish, service and maintain accounts
  • Participate in developing retention strategy and new business acquisition meetings
  • Direct gathering data from client-application, exhibits, narratives, loss runs
  • Work independently of producer on placement of risk
  • Develop marketing strategy
  • Lead in cross sell opportunities
  • Maintain open item checklists/timelines
  • Responsible for major project deadlines
  • Coordinate client meetings
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers
