About The Position
A well-established Louisiana-based financial institution is seeking an experienced Commercial & Private Banking Officer to join its growing New Orleans market team. This role is responsible for developing and managing commercial banking relationships, generating new loan and deposit business, and delivering customized financial solutions to business owners and high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong relationship-building skills, sound credit judgment, and the ability to grow a high-quality portfolio through community involvement and business development.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial banking, business banking, or related lending experience
- Strong understanding of commercial credit and financial analysis
- Proven relationship management and business development skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience managing commercial loan and deposit relationships preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop new commercial and private banking relationships
- Originate commercial real estate and commercial business loans
- Grow and manage loan and deposit portfolios
- Analyze financial statements and evaluate credit opportunities
- Partner with clients on lending, treasury, and deposit solutions
- Maintain strong community and referral network presence
- Collaborate with credit and leadership teams to structure transactions
