About The Position

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking a Commercial Lending Processor Supervisor. This individual will oversee the loan process, ensuring accuracy and timely commercial loan documentation. The role involves managing a team of Commercial Lending Processors, developing procedures, training staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The supervisor will also handle complex loan files, resolve client issues, and contribute to improving overall commercial lending operations. Additionally, the role includes administrative duties such as approving timecards, conducting performance evaluations, and participating in recruitment and hiring.

Requirements

  • Oversee all Commercial Lending Processors
  • Develop and manage commercial lending procedures to ensure accuracy and timely commercial loan documentation
  • Train, coach, and mentor direct reports to ensure they meet performance targets and quality standards
  • Collaborate with other areas in the commercial lending process to resolve issues and improve the overall commercial lending processing operations
  • Troubleshoot questions as brought forth by direct reports
  • Assist in various tasks such as documenting and booking loans, ordering third party reports for loan transactions, and posting payments
  • Process all loans assigned, including the most complex files
  • Ensure all documentation is regulator compliant (i.e. Reg B, HMDA, Flood Certifications, etc.)
  • Ensure all direct reports are up to date on compliance training
  • Analyze, understand and interpret loan policy and apply to loan requests
  • Ensure accurate, complete and timely loan data on processing system
  • Ensure post-closing findings are addressed in a timely manner by direct reports
  • Perform research needed to resolve client problems in a timely manner
  • Serve as backup to other documentation specialists
  • Undertake special projects and duties as assigned
  • Approve timecards and time off requests of all direct reports
  • Perform annual performance evaluations for all direct reports
  • Recruit, hire and train as needed new employees for area supervised
  • Mentor and motivate direct reports to exceed monthly target goals
  • Ensure excellent member service is provided to members throughout the commercial loan process
  • Resolve, escalate and remedy member service issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a positive work environment by developing helpful relationships with commercial loan officers, underwriters, commercial lending assistants, and quality control team members
  • All other duties as assigned by management
