Commercial Lender
About The Position
The Commercial Lender will interview loan applicants concerning their businesses, needs, and earnings to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk. This role involves receiving and reviewing loan applications, obtaining and directing the analysis of all necessary financial data, and making decisions on loans and terms within established lending limits. The Commercial Lender will maintain loan portfolios ensuring customer follow-up and monitoring of customer financials, conduct analysis on loan accounts, and perform credit reviews to help assess risk. Additionally, this position requires seeking out new business, sustaining an active pipeline, building partnerships, and serving as a point of contact for branch referrals. The role also demands developing and maintaining relationships within the public eye. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Finance preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 2 years banking experience
- Strong business development and networking skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills
- Must be detail oriented, analytical, and organized
- Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
