About The Position

This position is responsible for obtaining and developing a quality loan portfolio with annual performance goals while managing an existing portfolio. The role involves meeting with current and potential loan customers, inspecting equipment, evaluating loan collateral, and making written reports. The Commercial Lender / Branch Manager will monitor, review, and analyze loans and the financial condition of existing customers, service loan portfolios (renewing, extending, and collecting loans), and make lending decisions within the designated lending limit. This role requires consistent execution of loan policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as research and problem resolution on loan accounts. Additionally, the position involves managing branch operations, personnel administration, branch operation and loan compliance, managing overtime, meeting sales goals for operations and loans, and ensuring branch security. The role also includes promoting BancFirst services through cross-selling banking products to new and existing clientele, participating in community and public events, and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Extraordinary customer service skills.
  • Current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements.
  • In-depth understanding of branch bank and its position in the industry.
  • Ability to manage employees while multitasking large projects.
  • Critical thinking and reasoning skills.
  • Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn banking software applications.
  • Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Must always demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor.
  • Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Must be flexible and able to work additional hours when crucial to the department.

Nice To Haves
