The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen and the ability to drive significant commercial outcomes that benefit both partners and Plaid. This role involves acting as a thought partner, contract expert, and lead negotiator for major partnership deals. The work will define the commercial terms underlying Plaid's partner relationships. The role is motivated by tangible results and the ability to strike win-win deals. The Commercial Lead will also be a key collaborator with Plaid’s go-to-market teams, helping to establish repeatable and robust commercial processes to enhance speed and consistency within the partnerships team. A hands-on approach to data analysis for informed decision-making is expected, along with a commitment to transparency and visibility for improved decision-making and organizational communication.
