About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Commercial Landscaper / Grounds Laborer to maintain multiple commercial properties throughout the Nashville area. This position performs lawn care, landscape maintenance, site cleanup, and other outdoor labor while supporting a Crew Leader. Requirements

  • 1+ year of landscaping, groundskeeping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under the direction of a crew lead
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and fingerprint screening because this position services schools and other facilities where background clearance is required.
  • Must comply with all non-smoking campus and facility requirements

Responsibilities

  • Perform general lawn and landscape maintenance, including mowing, string trimming, edging, mulching, weed control, pruning shrubs, and blowing
  • Remove litter, leaves, sticks, and debris from lawns, walkways, and common areas
  • Support site cleanup and upkeep of commercial properties
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment
  • Assist crew leaders with various landscaping or maintenance tasks as directed
  • Assist with snow and ice removal during winter weather conditions
  • Participate in event setup and teardown as needed
  • Support other departments with general labor tasks during slower periods
  • Safely operate landscaping tools and equipment after training
  • Complete daily electronic timesheets accurately and on time
  • Follow all company safety procedures and supervisor instructions
