About The Position
A-Tech Commercial Parts and Service is seeking experienced Commercial Kitchen Technicians to join their team in Windsor, CT. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigeration systems, ice machines, ovens, fryers, griddles, and HVAC units. The company offers a sign-on bonus for experienced technicians and competitive pay. A-Tech has been a leader in the commercial food equipment repair business for over 30 years, serving various hospitality businesses.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems
- EPA Universal Certification
- Experience servicing commercial cooking equipment
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and organized work ethic
- Completion of a successful background check and drug screen
- Driving record must align with our safety standards
- Must be 18 years of age

Responsibilities
- Perform expert diagnostics and repairs on commercial refrigeration and ice machines
- Troubleshooting and repairing commercial cooking equipment like fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, and more
- Respond to emergency service calls and conduct routine preventative maintenance
- Delivering outstanding service with courtesy and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, managers, and sales staff
- Rotate through after-hours and weekend on-call shifts
- Spot new business opportunities while servicing existing accounts
- Maintain your service vehicle and manage parts orders
- Complete all required paperwork and attend ongoing training
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
