Requirements

Previous experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule.
Professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems.
Industry certifications.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment.
Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing-related equipment issues.
Repairing and maintaining commercial cooking equipment.
Servicing ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment, and other foodservice equipment.
Performing preventative maintenance.
Diagnosing equipment failures and determining the best repair solution.
Completing service calls accurately and professionally.
Communicating with customers regarding equipment problems and recommended repairs.
Maintaining accurate service records.
Following all safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
Keeping service vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and maintained.
