About The Position

This is a newly created position for a part-time (30-35 hours per week) on-site supervisor, working from 3 pm to 9 pm. The candidate will work alongside their team of cleaners, performing regular janitorial duties. Key responsibilities include training, motivating, organizing shifts, and conducting inspections to ServiceMaster standards. This role is crucial for ensuring team members stay on task and complete their assignments. It's an ideal entry-level supervisory position for someone flexible and looking for career advancement within the company.

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cleaning is preferred.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
Respect and understanding for co-workers and customers.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Must have a valid driver's license with a safe record as a company vehicle will be used.
Must pass a background check.
Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, reaching forward.
Must be able to lift and/or carry 45 lbs.
Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.

Responsibilities

Train cleaners on ServiceMaster's standards, products, processes, and procedures for individual accounts.
Oversee team performance and ensure all assignments are completed according to the set task schedule.
Perform inspections and provide performance feedback to team members.
Assign shifts and make necessary adjustments for call-ins or no-shows.
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
Contribute to a positive work environment with a pleasant attitude and a willingness to contribute to the team effort.
Be in uniform, dependable, and on time.
Use proper PPE and safety equipment as required.
Open and lock facilities, and enable/disable security systems as required.
Alternate weekend work with other managers.
