We’re currently looking for a dependable, hands-on Day Porter / Handyman to support the daily upkeep of commercial properties. This role combines routine cleaning/portering with light maintenance and repair work—ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and solving problems on the go.

Requirements

General handyman experience (carpentry, drywall, minor repairs)
Painting, patching, and basic finish work
Experience with small equipment (lawn mowers, snow blowers, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot and complete tasks independently
Strong attention to detail and time management
Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Daily portering duties including trash removal, cleaning common areas, and general upkeep
Light maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs, ceiling tiles, and minor repairs
Basic plumbing fixes (clogs, minor leaks, fixture swaps)
Assisting with light electrical tasks (low-voltage, simple wiring support)
Groundskeeping including walkway clearing, debris removal, and seasonal upkeep
Snow removal and salting during winter months
Performing routine property checks and reporting maintenance needs
Completing work orders accurately and on time
Communicating with supervisors, tenants, and vendors as needed
