About The Position

The Commercial Internship Program is a hands-on summer internship designed to introduce students to the commercial side of the scrap metal recycling business. Interns learn how customer and supplier relationships are developed, how market conditions influence business decisions, and how commercial teammates support profitable business growth across the recycling group. Interns work alongside commercial teammates and leaders to build foundational knowledge of scrap buying, material grades, market trends, pricing, customer service, logistics, and daily facility operations. Through field exposure, mentorship, and a summer-long business project, interns gain a practical understanding of what a commercial career in scrap metal recycling could look like after graduation.
