About The Position

NavSav is seeking a Commercial Lines Insurance New Business Placement/Marketing Specialist to help market and place commercial insurance accounts. The company operates in more than 20 states and works with multiple highly rated carriers. This role supports producers and account managers in finding competitive carrier placements and contributes to the company’s growth. The ideal candidate has several years of commercial insurance experience.

Requirements

Property and Casualty insurance license required.
At least 5 years of Commercial Lines Insurance experience.
Experience with new business placement and marketing through multiple carriers.
Must pass a background check.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Operational computing skills, including typing at least 45 WPM and familiarity with Microsoft Office suites and internet browsers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to multitask.

Applied EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

Respond to commercial insurance placement inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
Assist producers and account managers with marketing and remarketing commercial insurance accounts and placing them with competitive carriers.
Maintain organized reports on quote status and provide routine updates.
Maintain relationships and communication with leadership members and commercial sales producers.
Develop and nurture relationships with underwriters and stay up to date on carrier appetites.
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service.
Respond to inquiries about insurance coverage, quotes, and timelines.
Become familiar with products, services, and systems.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
