About The Position

Seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join the team. This role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional insurance solutions tailored to clients' diverse business needs. Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, this position involves managing insurance policies and providing guidance on coverage, claims, and renewals. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial insurance account management, customer service, or a related role.
  • Active Property and Casualty Insurance License or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field (preferred); equivalent work experience considered.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their unique insurance needs and business goals.
  • Provide support for commercial insurance clients by answering questions, resolving concerns, and facilitating policy changes.
  • Coordinate and manage the renewal process, including preparing and presenting renewal proposals.
  • Assess and analyze current insurance coverage, identify gaps, and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, advocating for clients during negotiations and claims processes.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate documentation, including policy summaries, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
  • Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market updates, and compliance changes to provide recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, underwriting, and claims departments, to deliver seamless service to clients.
