About The Position

An established agency is seeking a Remote Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage large, complex commercial accounts. The role involves advising clients on insurance coverage, managing and servicing an assigned book of business, and supporting new and renewal business marketing and quoting. The position is remote for Florida residents only. Duties and responsibilities may be modified at the employer’s discretion.

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience working with large-market accounts in an agency or broker environment.
Florida market experience.
Active 2-20 license.
Ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

Experience with the Epic agency management system.

Responsibilities

Advise and consult with clients regarding their insurance coverage.
Manage the workflow for an assigned book of business and delegate workflow as appropriate.
Maintain accounts in accordance with organizational guidelines.
Service accounts and monitor account activity.
Contact existing insureds to complement or round out their accounts.
Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect clients’ businesses.
Perform special projects as directed by the VP, Commercial Lines.
Review policies and coverage for accuracy, including rating calculations.
Process endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing.
Prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries, and reviews.
Develop and maintain relationships with partners, carriers, and vendors.
Manage the marketing process and quote new and renewal business.
