About The Position
Seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a dynamic and family-oriented team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a laid-back yet professional environment and is eager to take ownership of smaller commercial accounts while driving new business growth. The position is fully remote within the DMV area and requires no travel.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a proven track record in quoting, marketing, and servicing accounts.
- Strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EPIC software is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Erie agencies is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a portfolio of smaller commercial accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively pursue and secure new business opportunities, leveraging referral leads, centers of influence, and other resources provided by the company.
- Handle quoting, marketing, and servicing of both new and renewal business.
- Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and streamline workflows.
- Maintain a balance of approximately 75% sales and 25% service responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the team to uphold the company’s commitment to exceptional customer service and a positive work culture.
