Commercial/Industrial Field Ammonia Refrigeration Technician
About The Position
This role is field-based, working on a variety of commercial refrigeration equipment across multiple sites. No two days look exactly the same, and that’s the point. You’ll be out in the field handling service calls, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. Some days are quick fixes, others require deeper troubleshooting — either way, you’re the one diagnosing the issue and getting systems back up and running. The job involves working on walk-ins, reach-ins, display cases, ice machines and similar equipment, refrigeration systems with integrated controls, and larger or more complex systems as your experience grows.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration
- Ability to troubleshoot and think independently in the field
- EPA Universal Certification
- A solid work ethic and reliability
Nice To Haves
- Rack experience is a bonus, not a requirement
Responsibilities

- Strong hourly compensation: $35–$60/hour based on experience + up to 20+ hrs of OT per week
- Total comp ~$125k to $180k+/yr
