Commercial HVAC Technician

This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, installing and replacing HVAC and refrigeration equipment, performing system inspections, testing, and maintenance, and conducting warranty work, adjustments, and repairs. The technician will adhere to safety standards and customer expectations, and maintain detailed service records while completing work efficiently.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Iowa HVAC License (or the ability to obtain within the probation period)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Experience with educational, commercial, or industrial facilities
- Familiarity with chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, burners, RTUs, VRF, and VAV systems
- OSHA 10 certification or higher
- OEM certifications (Trane, Carrier, Daikin, etc.)
